Make it happen with content and being human
In the end of 2013, I self published my very own comic book and self-marketed it across social networks. In my session, I will share with you the various content marketing campaigns I created and ran to successfully sell a whopping… 400 copies in a year. Ok, so I’m not the next JK Rowling. However, my content marketing adventures throughout 2014 led me to interviews on CBC radio, being asked to lead a cartooning workshop for kids in Washington, D.C., my book being listed as a required textbook for two American universities, and a whole lot of learning about the kind of insights you can gain from social listening, building a loyal fan base, meeting them offline, and just being genuinely human, friendly, and helpful.

- How do I generate content ideas?
- How do I find the time to get to know my audience?
