Venue

Ryerson University

Rogers Communication Centre
80 Gould St

We’ll be at Ryerson University's flagship for studies in converging communications and interactive media. In operation for almost twenty years, the Rogers Communications Centre has grown to become Canada's premier facility for education in digital media communications.

The Rogers Communications Centre is about design and research in a community employing both current and advancing communications technology. These five themes have placed the Rogers Communications Centre among the best educational communication and design facilities internationally.

The communication and design programs that the Centre houses are an integral part of Ryerson University and an important component of Canada's burgeoning media sector. Just steps away from Yonge Street and the heart of Toronto, the Centre is located at the core of Canada's electronic media and digital communications culture.

On February 21 & 22, it will be the centre for dynamic discussion and engaging conversations about community and new media. Anchors away!

Ram in the Rye

63 Gould St

A casual student hangout, the Ram in the Rye is the pub located at Ryerson's downtown campus next door to our venue. The labyrinth of halls and flow ceiling alcoves dressed in brick and dull lighting makes it feel like an intimate neighborhood pub.

Traditional host of PodCamp's Staturday night extravaganza, and by popular demand, we're be back here again on the 21st to revel in each others company and meet each other in a casual environment.

Imperial Pub Tavern

54 Dundas Street East

This rowdy, Jazz soaked former host of "Live PodCast Night", pub is host to an unofficial meet up of our podcasting community on the eve of PodCamp.

On the 20th, on the second floor, in the ironically named "Library", you'll find dozens of the communities ethereal voices in the flesh. Many seasoned PodCamp veterans, coming back to the spawning ground of so many friendships.
